A therapy intensive for people trying to figure out what comes next

Why this course?

Something I have always loved doing is planning my life, writing down my goals, getting clear on what the necessary steps are to move toward fulfilment. If you ask any of my friends they will tell you that I always have a plan, and that I want to create plans for everyone around me.

I don’t mean to say that I follow the plans, quite to the contrary! Life comes up, goals and interests shift, and we evolve into new versions of ourselves for whom the plan is ill-fitting and would in fact take us off-course. I don’t adhere to old plans - I build new ones. My notebooks are full to the brim of new plans, each different from the last.

Perhaps this seems fruitless or disheartening from the outside, but from the inside it gives me purpose. The crux of it is this: if I don’t know where I want to go, it is not possible for me to take steps toward what I want for myself.

 

To me a plan is equal parts about what I am orienting myself toward and what I am allowing to take a backseat. By acknowledging that I cannot prioritise every part of my life I allow myself to let go of my expectations to be constantly growing in all directions. 

What does this intensive look like?

Day One: Dreaming

We will explore your values and guides, completing exercises to invite you inward and open up your imagination toward the future.

Three hours of time together, with breaks for eating, stretching, and taking care of your body.

Day Two: Scheming

We will take time to go through what stood out to you from the day before, clarify, make plans, and figure out what you'd like the future to look like in both long term and short term ways.
